this whole thread is you being salty
depends on your definition of salty.
If it's being composed and articulate, yh you're so right
jokes aside, you're gonna need to point out even one thing i've said that's 'salty'
Kurai I do agree there is a problem, some staff wont bother doing anything more than a warning. this could be because no one wants to be that bad cop.
but these random stuff over yell would not kill game, because thats the only time server becomes active. or else everyone afking.
but I think the game rules do need rethinking. People get muted for saying the name of their clan, but only a warning for being racist/abusive over yells.
Nice to know some people will still be honest
even after seeing how much hate you get for being honest
you're here bitching and whining cus you can't ::hideyell like a normal person who get's upset at yells does.
Also, if you're tired of people being racist, ::report is an option , instead of thinking nothing is ever done.
Is this the feedback section?
Do people give feedback that doesn't align with your opinion?
It's easy to follow the crowd buddy, form your own argument. Several people have said 'hide yell' - does hiding yell solve the issue with staff? Or am I being salty for having an opinion that is contrary to your own?
This IS the feedback section, and I've given feedback to your feedback. hideyell does solve the situation you've stated if you don't like yells. Also, ::report is a totally free and easy option that you've seemed to miss me saying it so I'll say it a few more times for you.
Think we all need to take a step back and not ridicule him for having an opinion. However, the people have a point of just hiding yell Kurai. Speaking out on a platform where people outlaw logic and praise memes is never going to work. I recommend fighting to change this place in silence if you actually have a care or resilience for it. Do your part and in a few months apply for informer and climb ranks to make a change. yelling on forums will get you nowhere, this place isn't run by the screamers in yell box. It's worse here
Don’t ever suggest someone become helper again, there is no climbing ranks on here.
I know, trying to defuse the situation before it escalates.
Hey man! I know a nice way for your to relax after a stressfull day.
Go take a steamy hot bath, drink some red wine and then drop a fucking toaster in your bath fgt.
Nah, staff positions are not my forte.
Good chat lads l0l
what do you have against meme's?
you can't say it's a bad community.
you haven't met me yet.
I didn't read the shitty post just read the title
Racism is not tolerated and if you do see it, please do ::report with a screenshot. You can also do ::staff in game to see if you can get somebody immediately. I don't think any of our staff members are scared of the players/scared to mute others, it might be lack of activity within the staff team whilst you're online.
Alright serious talk here. In regards to staff manning, for the FORUMS we are at a level of manning that is satisfactory to me. Forums aren't all that active, and therefore I can't justify taking on another moderator for this side of the community. As to ingame, recently another Moderator joined their team as a Global being Rosalina who is an active player from the NA timezones so I'd give her time to hit her stride in-game and see if her promotion serves to alleviate some of the manning issues you have pointed out. That said if you have any recommendations for forum staff manning I'd be happy to listen to your feedback privately via PM and if you have suggestions for Lush on Staff Manning globally please feel free to PM her.
Moving on you mention constant cussing/racial comments on some of the in-game channels. While racial remarks are enforced against both in-game and on forums with mutes and 24 hour bans respectively, cussing is less strictly moderated as it's not nearly as serious as a racially charged remark. Moderate cussing is allowed on forums, so long as the cussing does not lead to excessive flaming directed towards a member of our community at which point a Forum Moderator or even myself will intervene and consider implementing an infraction based upon the severity of the interaction.
Furthermore, when a Moderator strictly adheres to the rules and enforces them more strictly they tend to take a lot of flack for it. Case in point being our Ex-Administrator/In-game Mod Tom. Tom enforced rules by letter as written and people hated it and called him a bad Staff Member and called for his demote so very many times simply because he tried to follow the guidelines established by his forbearers. So to the whole mods scared of players be wary of what you wish for because if you want stricter enforcement it could have ramifications that you didn't anticipate as your wrote your post.
Just my take,
-picks up mic- you dropped this Ao
That's where you're pretty wrong imo. If the staff we're more strict, the server would be dead as fuck.
